A Ardakan rug is a type of handmade floor-covering textile originating traditionally from Central Asia. It is useful to differentiate between the original Ardakan tribal rugs and the large amounts of rugs manufactured for export today mainly in Pakistan and Iran. Ardakan is a Persian Rugs. Ardakan rugs are pretty unique. We use two decorative stitching instead of one. It is making the carpet fairly thick and highly durable.
